Summary
Our client is looking for a Commissioning Engineer to work within the Electricity Alliance - South West, the ideal candidate must have extensive experience across all aspects of commissioning from transformers, switchgear, power cables, compensation equipment to new build substations (GIS & AIS) and all the associated protection, control and metering systems.
The post will involve the planning of commissioning activities, organising resource, preparing commissioning documentation (method statements, switching programmes, test records) and carrying out testing and commissioning and managing the overall commissioning process at site.
The geographical area covered by the Alliance is South Wales and the South West of England
