Resident Civil Engineer

Summary

Our client is the Owners Engineer for the construction of an 800MW CCGT located at the existing coal fired power stated located in Cardiff. The requirement is for a resident civil engineer to join the site team during the construction and commissioning of the plant.

The assignment is due to commence in January 2008

Job description:

Senior civil engineering representative on site, responsible for all civil engineering aspects related to the management of the construction of the 800MW CCGT power plant.

Reporting to the Site Manager

Candidate specification:

Essential academic, professional qualifications and experience:

Degree/Chartered Engineer

Essential competencies:

Extensive site construction management experience relating to CCGT’s as resident Civil Engineer or equivalent
