Environmental Engineering Framework Manager

Summary

Our client has an ongoing strategy for developing its position as one of the UK’s leading environmental consultancy firms, being a major supplier of services to the Environment Agency, specifically in terms of the Flood Risk Management Framework and the NEECA Framework. We are looking to recruit an experienced Framework Manager who can demonstrate exceptional drive and commitment in managing an entire process from bid stage, negotiation, through to management of major framework contracts.

Job description:

The senior appointee will lead a multi disciplinary team, drawn from company operations in the UK, to successfully bid and deliver engineering and advisory framework contracts with the Environment Agency. As Framework Manger, the successful applicant will manage the framework with particular emphasis on developing and maintaining client and stakeholder relationships and promoting a “best in class” service. This is an Associate/Director level position.

Candidate specification:

Experience at a senior level of the management and delivery of engineering frameworks to the Environment Agency
In-depth knowledge of the Environment Agency and of its aims, objectives, organisation, processes and business procedures.
The candidate will be professionally Chartered, and although specific technical expertise is not critical, the candidate will be familiar and comfortable with the management of a wide cross section of technical disciplines
A track record in both programme management and bid management
The successful candidate will have a background of working with a consultancy, the Environment Agency and or contractors
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience
