Design Team Leaders - Potable Water Supply

Summary

Our client is seeking Design Team Leaders to join their office in Munster.

The Design Team Leaders will participate as part of a project team and will report to the Project Manager. The successful candidates will be required to lead design teams and have a hands-on role in the preparation of feasibility studies and in the design of water supply systems.

Job description:

Tasks assigned to these positions include:

- Conducting investigations into available water yields and demands
- Preparing concept designs with cost estimates
- Preparing detailed designs and contract documents
- Carrying out the role of Engineer’s Representative and Employer’s Representative on construction contracts
- Attending meetings
- Report writing.

These roles also include: preparing submissions and making presentations to client companies; carrying out all tasks in accordance with the Company’s quality assurance system; and participating in staff training and providing guidance to those under his/her charge.

Candidate specification:

Candidates should have a Degree in Engineering with five years post graduate experience in the planning and design of potable water supply systems. Knowledge of design software systems for the modelling of water supply networks is desirable.
