Team Leader

Summary

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the team leader will be accountable for the delivery of areas of the business in excess of £3million and be responsible for a team of up to 50 staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring the business grows in line with the ambitious strategy defined. Ensuring projects are managed to meet or exceed profit targets and to meet client expectations. Ensuring that financial and non-financial targets are met. Ensuring the size of the team increases in line with ambitious growth plan. Maintaining and developing the relationships with the clients. Pro-actively marketing the services of the company and winning work. Ensuring staff receive appropriate training and development to ensure business needs are met and that individuals meet their personal aspirations wherever possible. Developing excellent team working relationships with the existing managers.

Essential Qualifications:

Ideally degree qualified and member of professional institute, however previous experience and background more relevant.

Desirable Qualifications:

Ideally knowledge and experience of the UK nuclear decommissioning market. Have sufficient knowledge of safety, radiological and environmental principles and their role and application within industry to be able to advise clients of potential solutions.

Experience Required:

Candidates are required to possess a broad based background, well developed commercial and business development skills along with experience in managing team of people.
