Summary

Either perform or review hazards assessments of a range of reactor designs both UK based and internationally

Key Responsibilities:

Support the performance of HAZOP/HAZID process for a range of designs. Author safety case supporting documents covering the hazard process. Review Hazard documentation submitted by other organisations in support of the regulatory review of applicant designs.

Essential Qualifications

Knowledge of :

• Fundamentals of nuclear power plants
• Hazards assessment
• Safety case authorship experience

Desirable Qualifications:

Safety case author qualifications

Experience Required

Performance of Hazard assessments of nuclear plant:

• Production of safety case supporting reports for nuclear plant
• Review of safety case material

Security Clearance Level Required:

BC
