Project Engineer

Summary

Project Engineer providing support to Project Managers within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Detailed programme generation and resource planning, including the use of appropriate software tools. Bid management including tasking, scope generation and costing. Project control, cost tracking (EVA) and reporting, including the use of company software tools. Risk management, including the use of company software tools. Achieving targeted profit levels through close technical and financial control. Invoicing and cash collection. Project close-out, feedback and lessons learnt if necessary. Project record keeping and archiving.

Essential Qualifications:

Desirable Qualifications:

Member of the Association for Project Management. Member of the IMechE or similar. Educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar; or equivalent industry experience.

Experience Required:

Project Engineer with experience in of all aspects of project management. Defence industry knowledge working with various clients. Good communication and organisational skills are essential. Knowledge/experience of MS Project.

Security Clearance Required:

BC
