Summary

To oversee the smooth running of the Thatcham office, and to provide financial information to the clients Support business

 

Key Responsibilities

Liaise with Central Invoicing to invoice the clients projects in a timely and efficient manner. Request amendments to projects to ensure they are charged correctly to the client. Liaise with project cost engineers regarding the day-to-day financial control of the projects. Be the focal point for all activities affecting the Southern Office, e.g. Facilities and fire. Assist Project Managers/Business Unit Director with financial and project reporting to enable them to effectively manage their projects/business. Liaising with central credit control department, to ensure payments are processed in good time. Have a good knowledge of other administrative positions to cover work during periods of absence, including reception. Applicants must have the ability to obtain at least SC level security clearance.

 

Essential Qualifications

GCSEs or equivalent (Grade A-C in English, Maths, Science) A Levels/AS Levels or equivalent

 

Desirable Qualifications

Degree or similar

 

Experience Required

Proficient in the use of Microsoft products – Outlook, Explorer, Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Experience of Agresso (or similar financial control system) would be an advantage. Good general office administration skills. Flexible working hours – work outside ‘standard 9-5’ when necessary. Working autonomously. Working to conflicting deadlines, set by various members to the management team. Good communication skills required, as will be involved with regular discussions with our clients. Ability to produce reports and spreadsheets for the management team, tailored to their requirements. Ability to interrogate financial packages to produce reports and financial data.
