Summary

Due to the continued expansion of our clients NIRAS radiochemical analysis laboratory, an opportunity has arisen to join their market leading laboratory. The successful candidate will assist in the management of the analytical work programmes to meet reporting timescales and quality requirements. Reporting to the Principal Programme Manager, this is an exciting and challenging customer-facing role.

Key Responsibilities

Programme management of specific analytical work programmes assigned by the Principal Programme Manager, including the following:
- Assisting in the NIRAS quotation and tendering process.
- Commercial reconciliation and scheduling of analysis on receipt of samples.
- Collation of analysis results and compilation of analytical reports
- Exercise technical control over analysis projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with major customers to ensure repeat business.

Essential Qualifications

Graduate in a scientific discipline, preferably chemistry related, with 3 years relevant experience, preferably in the nuclear industry.
-Must have excellent interpersonal skills to allow effective communication within NIRAS and to market/sell to our customers.
- PC literate in word processing, spreadsheets and databases

Desirable Qualifications:

Broad knowledge of radiochemistry -Experience in the nuclear industry

Experience Required:

Capable of dealing with financial, technical and customer issues in the business on a standalone basis.
- Good organisational and project management skills

Security Clearance Required:

BC
