To provide C&I support to a range of fuel route work areas. Working either individually or as part of a team, to deliver high quality work to time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Successful execution of high quality engineering work to time, quality, budget and customer satisfaction
2. Provides accurate estimates of own work for proposals/tenders
3. Plans and manages own engineering design and assessment work within associated project budgets 4. Anticipates technical risks associated with work and discusses how to manage these with Responsible Engineer or Team Leader
5. Maximises the profitability of all work by ensuring that it is carried out efficiently and effectively
6. Maintains and develops successful working relationships with engineers in client organisations
7. Continually develops technical knowledge and competence in field of expertise, and seeks to develop skill portfolio
Essential Qualifications:
Degree qualified, or equivalent
Experience Required For This Role:
Knowledge and experience of the application of the installation and commissioning of C&I systems.
• Knowledge and experience of the principles of measurement and to design and review design proposals for nuclear instrumentation.
• To have the capability to either assess or review assessments of the reliability of C&I systems.
• The knowledge and experience to design and review design proposals for electronic systems
• Knowledge and experience to design and review design proposals for safety or safety related Programmable Systems using the IEC 61508 and / or PES Guidelines
• The knowledge and experience to design and review design proposals for non-computer based control systems.
Desirable experience:
• Experience of fuel route operations and safety cases.
