Summary
Our client is looking for a Electrical Engineer to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the design and specification of the Electrical services, plant & equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Liaise with other members to determine extent / type of electrical load. Prepare Amteck/Hevacomp cable calcs/schedules for the L.V. installation Undertake lighting calculations. Design low power networks. Preparation of drawings and specifications for additional plant and modifications.
Essential Quals- HNC/HND or Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering .
Desirable Quals - Possibly associate or full membership of MCIBSE/MIEE .
Experience :
Experience in the design of electrical systems, plant & equipment associated with building services and process plant. Experience interfacing with other technical disciplines on multi-discipline design projects. Installation, test and commissioning experience would be advantageous. Effectively present and discuss ideas and plans. Production of design documents and drawings. Good communicator.
