Summary

Civil Clerks of Works with high initiative, drive and ability to deliver tasks safely in a timely manner to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that contractors and their supervisors are suitable qualified and experienced to carry out their respective roles and monitor that they take positive ongoing action to maintain safety, health and environment arrangements to the highest possible standards. Ensure the delivery of the construction phase of the project, meeting safety, cost, programme and quality objectives. Ensure that the construction work is supervised, checked and accepted in accordance with the relevant specifications, drawings and standards of workmanship. Liaise with designers and project personnel to ensure correct interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorisation for modifications consequent upon site conditions. Liaise with team of Construction Engineers / Clerks of Work.

Essential Qualifications:

Approved apprenticeship / time served in the construction trade. Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil construction industry. Supervisory experience and proven ability to deliver tasks. 12 modules IOSH Management of Safety

Desirable Qualifications:

ONC or equivalent with 2 years relevant site experience
